The bottom line for small and medium-sized businesses is to get word out about your company and what you offer, while looking after your existing customers (and your reputation). Knowing what works for you and why is essential in using your time and money wisely.
Gemma is friendly, straight-talking, effective and incredibly good value for money. With her years of experience, she understands how to engage my customers and collaborators, from the busy mum to the national reading charity. I’m on a mission to spread the magic of Reading Fairy to help every child get the best start for reading for life. With Gemma by my side, I have every confidence that we can do just that.
Emily Guille-Marrett – Founder
We initially worked with Emily Guille-Marrett, the founder of this Whitstable-based business, on a media campaign to promote a series of children’s reading events at libraries across Kent. The campaign resulted in coverage in newspapers and magazines across Kent, including a special feature in a county-wide magazine. Since then, we have continued to provide ongoing PR support to Reading Fairy, including social media.
We have used Gemma on a project-by-project basis over a number of years. During this time her understanding of the uniqueness of the Havengore proposition has developed enormously and her readiness to fit into the role of our PR person has now made her a highly valued team member.
Chris Ryland – Owner of Havengore
We have enjoyed a long relationship with the Havengore team, providing PR and media support for a range of high profile events this beautiful vessel has taken part in, including the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee River Pageant and the Paralympic Torch relay. Earlier this year we managed hundreds of media enquiries and organised interviews in response to the 50th anniversary of Sir Winston Churchill’s funeral. Havengore led a procession on the River Thames which generated worldwide media coverage. Additionally, our social media activity reached almost three million separate accounts.
